Trying out %Arabica Coffee in Arashiyama, Kyoto

During my recent trip to Kyoto, I finally got to try %Arabica's coffee in Arashiyama. I knew they had long lines, so me and my boyfriend decided to go before the shop opened at 9. It was Saturday and two people were already waiting when we arrived at around 8:30.

%Arabica is located just along the road (click here for the address) with amazing views of the Katsura River. I tried their Kyoto latte with soy milk and it was excellent! It was already my second cup of coffee for the day and Kyoto latte only has a single shot of espresso, so it was just right.

The service was pretty fast but I suggest you go early (especially on weekends) if you don’t like long queues because, by the time the shop opened, I would say there were already around 20 people waiting.

We sat by the river and I drank my coffee while enjoying the spectacular view. I checked online and found that %Arabica also has a few other branches in Kyoto. But if you're going to Arashiyama, I highly recommend you drop by. It's worth it!

Cheers,

Dyan
