If you love donuts just like me, you should try TSUMIKI COFFEE's donuts! They're made from rice flour and soy milk, and they're gluten-free. ;)
I ordered a chocolate donut and TSUMIKI Burendo (their coffee blend) for a total of 730 yen which was a very reasonable price. I was served a freshly made hot donut and it was really good! The donut wasn't too sweet which I liked and the coffee was tasty too.
They also have some unusual donut flavors such as sesame, dates and chocolate brulee which I have yet to try next time.
I went to the coffee shop on a weekday at around 1:30 in the afternoon and there weren't too many people around. However, there was only one staff at the time so I had to wait a bit until my order came.
The coffee shop is located at Saiwaicho in Osaka City which is about 15 minutes away from Dotonbori by foot. You can also take the subway (Osaka Metro Sennichimae Line) and get off at Sakuragawa station, and from there it's only a 2-minute walk.
I would definitely go back again to try their other donut flavors!
